Were proxy ordinances that were performed before someone's death ratified?
My grandmother's sister Klara Agnes Gertrud Schmidt (K2QF-Q4L) was believed by her relatives in Germany and the United States to have been killed in an earthquake in Guatemala. Her endowment and sealing to parents were therefore performed by proxy. It was later determined that she lived past the time the ordinances were performed. The death date is posted in FamilySearch and the ordinance dates are still showing. Does that mean that they have been ratified and are valid?
