We recently received instructions to (finally) update some of our center computers to Windows 10 due to an upcoming printing issue. The help articles related to that process give conflicting information on which computer models are eligible to use the Windows 10 image file. Comparing Article ID #6271 and article ID #6319, which are both dated April 20, 2020, article 6271 includes Dell Optiplex models 7010, 7020, 9010 AIO and 9020 AIO as having licenses that allow the update. (The 9020 's update successfully at our center). Those models are omitted in article 6319.

The Articles regarding the model numbers od upgradeable computers has changed over the months, as new upgraders are released. A good place to find up to date information is in the Tech Support Community.

You can click on Groups on the far left of this page, then Search for Tech, Family History Center Technical support (North America) is the name of the group. After you have signed in and click the join button you can find a wealth of information in this group. There is a monthly Zoom meeting with the Tech Guys that is very informative and helps to keep you up to date.
