multiple obitituaries
- I am doing a form that has 3 obituaries on it. The instructions say...
- Index each obituary independently from the other obituaries even if multiple obituaries are for the same deceased individual.
The first obituary has 18 entries. For the next obituary, would I start on entry 19 and mark the person as deceased. Is that what separates the obituaries from each other? Or do I start a new entry list somehow? Thanks for your help!

Hi Emilee Jane. That is correct! When you mark the Entry as Deceased, that will separate the obituaries. You just keep working on the IMAGE until you finish all the names in the obituaries.
On your other question about sharing a batch, the batch code is found several ways. One easy way is to copy and paste, or type in with your question the series of numbers and letters that are in brackets after the project title:
US, Oklahoma—Obituaries, 1963–1986[M3D5-51B] The bold is the batch code.
So, if you want to look at that batch, you could either click on Help and then Open Shared Batch which would ask you to enter that code: M3D5-51B and then it would show you the batch I am working on. It is a review batch, so the read arrows mean I have changed something. You can click on the red arrow and see what was wrong. You cannot hurt anything because you can't make changes or additions to a shared batch. (This batch will actually be returned for reindexing because the original indexer only indexed the names of the deceased.)
Or, you can click the little gear next to My Batches on your indexing page, and again there is an avenue to open a shared batch.
You can also click on the third icon from the right in the horizontal toolbar and both the batch code and the URL will pop up. You can also copy and paste that link which guides a person right to the batch when they click on the link.
