    Some say to copy "everything" on the original document and others say the middle-name period is not required.

    It depends on what the field help says. Lately, there has been a few projects that require punctuation to be included.

    To access the field helps, click on the field, and then click on the purple question mark that appears. There you will find the specific information like whether to include punctuation, when to expand abbreviations or not to expand abbreviation, to place commas between levels of locality, etc.
