Perhaps it needs to be clearly stated if this is yet another change to the search process, and associated pages - where what worked for a large majority of dedicated genealogists, was broken in favor of a minority of hobbyists - or to something here in this "discussion" area of the site (where you still need to log in separately, even if you are currently logged in).

Please indicate what you expect us to do with this thread. Is it to provide feedback about the Search tool ?

Should we attempt to create bug reports here ?

Where can we request additions and improvements to the Search tool ?

Should there a clear distinction between the Search GUI and the Search query performance ?
