I thought to just do it, but I see where you have to fill in blanks with "getting your special information" documentation. So I am trying to do it correctly. Please check this individual and see if you can unlock this requirement since his birthday was 110 years and 1 day ago.....

There was a bug in the system about a year or so back that caused problems with calculating the 110 year date. These IDs may still be experiencing that bug. Here is a way to get past it. Go to each person. Remove the birth date and save. Then put the birth date back in and save. Then go to Ordinances and you should be able to request them.

Also, you can actually reserve ordinances when the system hits midnight UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) for the 110 year birthdate. For example, in Utah right now we are 6 hours behind UTC. So at 6 pm MDT on the day before the 110 year birthday you can reserve the temple ordinances - as it is already the next day UTC.

Please note that @DMS1737 has verified that the system did what it was designed to do, and the ordinances for the 93FN-BC9 record can now be requested since the permission banner is gone. While users previously did circumvent the system by tampering with the birth date, we discourage this since the 110-year policy was developed to protect the wishes of close living family members. Keep in mind that the Terms of Use at FamilySearch ask us not knowingly enter incorrect information into Family Tree,.

Please give the system the entire day before assuming the system is not working as designed. Ordinances are affected according to Greenwich Mean Time, not any of the time zones in North America, and the exact moment of the change may not occur until later today. If you continue to see a problem tomorrow, then it would be time to consider that there might be a system-related issue that would need to be investigated.

Thanks. I got lots of help. On the reply from ODBurk, the birthdate was effective Saturday, October 2, and I checked again this morning, October 3. So technically I gave it an extra day. But maybe not the six hours. Thanks again!
