search by relationship

How do I add a relative (parent, partner etc) to a record search in the new format? Now it seems I can only filter by collection, sex, race, birth, marriage, death, other or residence but not for relationship. In the past I have found this to be my most used filter>

If you click on "More Options" you will have the option to add a spouse name to your search.

When using the new Search page for finding Historical Records, as you type in the generation information about an ancestor. Just click the More Options under the general search fields.

You can click FEWER OPTIONS to return to the basic search, and if you encounter problems, you can use the Feedback tab on the right side of the page to share your experience with using the new Search page.

In addition, once you click Search, you will have an Advanced Search option on the results page to continue to fine-tune your search results.

Finally, because we want you to be prepared to use the information that appears in your Search Results, the Help Center has a new knowledge article which contains instructions for using the Search page as well as embedded links that will take you to additional knowledge articles to help you with your research efforts.

And, if you have already started your search, without a spouse, you can add a spouse or other family member from More Options on the search results page.
