Are the initials after the surname in this South African church register the initials of the father?

Voornamen means first names and Namen is surnames
We do not believe those are initials are part of the names and we do not know what they mean They would not be indexed. The researcher can decide what they mean if anything. Just put in the surnames and then the given name.

I believe yes the order of names as written appear to be - last name, given name(s) - although the (Dutch apparently - which I don't read) headings should add clarity to whether this assessment is correct. So to me I agree -they appear to be initials. They might be specifying some classification within the church - I don't know. However someone that can speak to the headings better might say first column is surname with those initials specifying something else and next column being given names. I guess we need a Project expert or instruction - that's my vote.
Google translate seems to indicate: first column = surname second column = given name(s)
So instead of being a marriage register this might be a membership register....
This brings up the idea: Do Project Instructions help non-native language Project Indexers understand Project documents well enough? I think the point being - FS would prefer a native language person do the Indexing - otherwise I guess we just return the batch if it is not understandable to us.

I have consulted with a native South African friend. Here is her answer: This is an index of names. There is no place or dates. Mark it No Extractable Data in Step 1.
Update: I also asked a missionary friend who specializes in these records and she agrees it is an index and it's NED.
It resembles a membership record but is missing several columns including parish and date.
