I am a bit confused with what seem to be a conflict in instructions. Sierra Leone—Birth and Death

The field help states: Do not index the registration center. On the image Place of Registration and registration center appear to be the same??

• The project instructions state: Do not index the registration center or any numbers in the place of registration boxes. Index only the town or village, chiefdom, and district, in that order.

IN the examples you see the following: 2. Registration Place: Wellington, Freetown 

Freetown is the city, Western Area is the name of the district so am I correct in indexing the Registration Place as : Freetown, Western Area?

 Yes, the Project Instructions and Field Help are very clear to only "Index only the town or village, chiefdom, and district, in that order."

You would only index the Registration Place on Image 5; all the others would be marked as Blank.

Thank you for sharing the batch number, so the record and instruction can be seen. The only statement I found in the instruction is: "Do not index the death place as the registration place."

Looking at the #5 birth record and Indexing Place in the following order: Village, Chiefdom, and District. Western Area is the chiefdom and Freetown is the district, so you have them backwards.

I went ahead and corrected them on the indexing space for Place.
