    Hello @Carnes, Bonnie Gail

Though you may be the oldest living descendant of a common ancestor, you do not qualify as a close living relative of your deceased great aunt. However, if there are no close living relatives (spouse, parent, child, sibling), you can still request the ordinances. Please see the following knowledge article:

You can request Mary Ella's ordinances by following the steps in the following article:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-ordinances-for-an-ancestor-who-was-born-in-the-last-110-years

A couple of things to assist you as you complete the tasks in the article above. After clicking on Request Permission, you will select "I have permission." You will indicate that the spouse is deceased. Then you will click the radio button "None of the Above is Alive." Then enter your information. As stated in the article, this will send the request to the proper department for review.

Best wishes as you continue to work on your Family History.
