I was adding my wife's mother to my tree and added the wrong Betty. How do I remove her? I can not figure it out.

    Hello @Harvey Burger

You can remove an incorrect relationship. Here is the knowledge article that explains how to correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

If you still have questions, let us know. We can give you more specific instruction if the person is deceased and you provide an ID number that we can investigate.

Hope the article suggested in the last posting fully answered your question.

This issue often generates questions, and these may have been answered previously. Just a tip to save you some time......before posting a question, it may be helpful to you to check if this topic has been addressed previously - You can add keywords (in this case 'wrong person' or 'remove incorrect relationship' ) to the search bar, and other similarly themed questions will appear and may provide you with a quicker answer.

    Hope this helps.
