Ordinances done in the 1970"s
I completed the ordinances in the 70's for my parents and then my granddaughter called to tell me she had done the work for my parents and I said I had already done the work. So I'm wondering what happened to the work that I did in the 70's? So now the work is done for the second time.
I'm happy the work is done but wondering why it had to be done twice?
Thank you very much!!

Thank you for your question in the community about your parents ordinances being completed twice, and what happened to the work you did in the 70's. Since you did not enclose the ID numbers of your parents, we are unable to be specific to their case.
We are enclosing the article about reasons for duplicate ordinances.
Below are reasons your completed ordinances list can look different from what you see in Family Tree
- A duplicate record exists for the person.
- A person’s ordinances were done multiple times. In that case, Family Tree can show an earlier ordinance date from the one on your list.
- A person on your completed ordinances list was deleted from Family Tree. If needed, you can restore the person.
- A family relationship was deleted from Family Tree. If needed, you can restore the relationship.
- The person's ordinance information cannot be displayed. If you look at the person’s ordinance status in Family Tree, it is listed as “Not available.”
- System restrictions prevent you from seeing the person in Family Tree.
