Exact filters

Before when searching specific databases, clicking on the exact search box would allow for more specific searches. With the last few updates this no longer is the case, and it instead does a fuzzy search. Sometimes I know exactly when something happened but can't find the record because it is misspelled or misindexed. Exact searches by locations or dates allow me to more easily find the record even if the name is inputted wrong. Will the exact search feature ever be fixed so it does an exact search? I really liked being able to search a specific location for a specific time period with little to no names to find mis-indexed people.
