How do I delete a green request sign for Sealing to Parents when the ordinance has already been done
A family member by the name of Helena Bakker (GHRD-42N) shows she's already been sealed to her parents, yet a green request sign shows that she needs that ordinance. I don't know how to remove the green request for sealing to parents....can someone help me with that problem? Her mother is Maria Elisabeth Schouten (G45L-R2J) and her father is Willem Bakker (G45L-59X)

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Unfortunately, you yourself appear to have created the situation/circumstance, by the recent "Merge"/"Combine" (21 February 2021), that you did between the individual/person that you created; and, the already EXISTING individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; whereby, you retained the individual/person that you created; as, the "Surviving" individual/person.
EXISTING individual/person:
Helena BAKKER ... ( LHD9-581 ) ... Pre.2012
YOUR individual/person:
Helena BAKKER ... ( GHRD-42N ) ... Created 21 February 2021
As an aside ...
You would have been better off, retaining the already EXISTING Helena BAKKER ( LHD9-581 ); as, the "Surviving" individual/person.
When I locate a "Duplicate", I ALWAYS retain the already EXISTING (ie. OLDER) individual/person; as, the "Surviving" individual/person; as opposed to, a (ie. NEW) individual/person; even, those that I created.
When you did the "Merge"/"Combine", you DID NOT also "Merge"/"Combine" the Parents.
You basically left the ORIGINAL Parents of Helena BAKKER ( LHD9-581 ) "Hanging"; thereby, leaving the ORIGINIAL "Temple" Work of "Sealing to Parents" also "Hanging".
Furthermore ...
The best option for you, now, to address/fix that "Temple" Work of "Sealing to Parents" is to "Merge"/"Combine" the Parents of the two (x2) Helena BAKKER's.
I would humbly suggest that you retain the already EXISTING Parents as the "Surviving" individuals/persons; and, thereby, "Deleting" (ie. "Archiving") the Parents that you created.
That is, to retain, already EXISTING Parents, as the "Surviving" individuals/persons:
Father: Willem BAKKER ... ( LHD9-5DN )
Mother: Maria Elisabeth SCHOUTEN ... ( LHD9-5DK )
And, "Delete" (ie. "Archive") the Parents
Father: Willem BAKKER ... ( G45L-59X )
Mother: Maria Elisabeth SCHOUTEN ... ( G45L-R2J )
During the "Merge"/"Combine", you can "Move" all the relevant "Data", from the record on the LEFT, to the RIGHT; thereby, adding the "Details" to the already EXISTING Parents.
That should address/fix that "Temple" Work of "Sealing to Parents".
I hope this helps.

I see that you have fixed the problem and the sealing to parents ordinance has now been restored.
Great job!

Hello @Judith Meyer Jensen
The situation you describe happens when the parents listed in the original sealing to parents ordinance now do not match the "new" or "different" set of parents.
We see that you created this record for Helena Bakker GHRD-42N earlier this year and then merged a duplicate: Helena Bakker LHD9-581. It's likely that the record deleted in the merge had a different set of parents.
I'm going to investigate further and advise. Stay-tuned. . .

Hi, again.
I found Helena Bakker in beta.familysearch.org and restored the parent-child relationships that had been deleted. with this result:
Note that the IDs for the father and the mother are different than the ones in Family Tree (production). So, we need to find those IDs and merge them with the current ones: Willem Bakker G45L-59X and Maria Elisabeth Schouten G45L-R2J.
You should be able to merge by ID. From Willem Bakker G45L-59X person page, select Merge by ID and drop in the ID LHD9-5DN. There is very little information, but we know this is a duplicate. There may be a problem with Maria Elisabeth Schouten G45L-R2J and the duplicate LHD9-5DK, which indicates she died as a child and has a different set of parents. Further research might be necessary. However, the similarity in the ID numbers for the parents makes me think that the information for Maria is wrong and belongs to another person with a similar name.
I hope this helps and hasn't muddied the waters for you.

Thank you for addressing this problem. I fixed it and I learned something about the merge process. Thanks for your time.
