I have a sister-in-law who is a member of the lds church. She only has a line line Phone. She has no internet access so no email. She would lime to have an account so she can go to her family history library at her church. Can she create an account?

Thank you for contacting FamilySearch Communities.

It is necessary to have either an email address or a mobile phone to verify your account in the set-up process and to recover forgotten username or password. The following article explains how to get a free email account. Your sister-in-law may have to use a public computer at a library or a friend's computer to get an email address. She should be able to do this at the Family History Center as well. They would have to check that email after setting up her account to get the verification email from the church to activate the account.

We hope that she can find a way to get access to a computer so that she can start working on her family history.
