Reviewed Image Name: 007944075 // Batch ID: M431-G6P . This review was posted as " no information available ". However, it has 147 names of Civil War Vets, with date of enlistment, assigned units, and other personnel information. It should be Indexed in the correct format. Vital information. I've come across this before and I feel there should be a easier button in pull-down to return such a batch that needs or should be Indexed in the proper format even if it's only one entry.

If this is in the City Directory Project, the project instructions tell us not to index these images (mark them No Extractable Data). I got an error message when I tried to view the batch. Perhaps you found the way to return it.

In any event, the project instructions for soldiers lists:

    • Mark all other images, including full pages of advertisements, county and city histories, lists of elected officials, tables of contents, maps, city and county government officials lists, colonial wills, biographies, military histories, solider lists, family histories, historical essays and voter and census records, in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data.

There are two ways to return a batch for reindexing.

    1. Click on Batch, and Reindex Batch.
    2. You can also let FamilySearch know when an indexer/reviewer might need extra help by completing the Reason to Reindex Batch form. This is an experimental feature. With the Batch Open, click on Help, then click on Labs and Activate the form. Click on the Web Indexing tab. Retrieve the batch again, Click on Batch and Reindex Batch and the form appears.
