Can I do the temple work for a sister who died only 20-30 years ago.

In March 2021, I requested permission to do the temple work for Gertrude Van Eyle. Born in Germany and raised by her grandparents. She was an only child. She married, but had no children, her husband was killed by the NAZI's, and she never remarried. Sister Van Eyle was baptized in Oct./Nov. 1966 in Cologne Germany by Hans Liebermann. I was one of the missionaries that taught Sister Van Eyle the gospel. Sister Van Eyle died in the late 1990's in Cologne. I suspect that she was born in the early 1900 hundreds, possible in Duisburg Germany.

I received an email from the church confirming that the church had received my request and was working on processing it. I have heard or received nothing since that initial confirmation.

I am again requesting permission to complete her temple work. I am afraid if I don't do her work it will only be done through indexing at some future time.

Thank you for your help,

Did the church temple department receive the above email?
