Do I have to wait a year to seal my mom to her parents when we had it planned before suddenly died?
My mother suddenly passed away last month. We had planned to go to the temple when it reopened in our area to seal her to her parents. She was an endowed active member when she died. We have a temple trip planned for this week, but I cannot access (not available) her record to get it printed to seal to her parents. Do I have to wait a year for this ordinance? I updated family search to show she died and her record has been updated by the church etc.
LX2W-YGC Linda Sharon Dorsey is her name.

Hi @Michelle Kathleen Engler, we are so sorry for your unexpected loss. Please review the following temple policy article which discusses what you might want to do to had your mother sealed right away instead of waiting a year. Please note that in the article you will need to provide an active temple recommend, or a letter from her Bishop, and you will have to work directly with the Temple Presidency at your temple to move forward. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/performing-ordinances-less-than-a-year-after-death
Since the LX2W-YGC record is a copy of your mother's actual Membership Record, please also be sure her Ward Clerk updates her official record with her death information so that it can be merged in Family Tree with this and any other duplicate records that other family members have created. All records for her should be marked as deceased and then merged with the official record when it becomes available as a possible duplicate. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/missing-ordinance-and-membership-information-in-family-tree
