Sealing to parents error
Hello... One of my cousins, Donald James Williams (KWC6-B4R) shows that he was sealed to his birth parents on 26 June 1951. In 1951, his birth parents were already divorced. There is an error in the listed ordnance, as Donald was actually sealed to his birth mother (KWC6-RLR) and step-father (KWZ8-LHC) on this date. FamilySearch shows the sealing ordinance to still be available for Donald to this set of parents.
His brother Garry LeRoy Williams (KW41-ZLM) was also sealed to the same parent couple on the same date, but his record appears to be correct.
From his mother's personal history (found under Memories for KWC6-RLR), it says: "I divorced my first husband when Garry was still very young and married Alma Mitchell Taylor on June 22, 1939. Our only child together, Sharon Ann was born on [removed, still living]. When Alma and I were sealed in the temple, Donald and Garry chose to be sealed to us as Alma was the only father they had ever really had. Sharon was sealed to us at the same time."
Thanks in advance for looking into this. Hopefully the sealing record in FamilySearch can be updated accordingly.
