I am excited to index the Cavan Church records and have read the project instruction but am still stumped at the first record where it appears to say "s Catherine Brady" after the name of the mother of the child. The instructions do not seem to cover this in theh meaning and application of abreviation to be found. Just be looking through the rest of the records "s" in this case and "sp" in others would indicate sponsors for the baptism. Can anyone confirm this?
