    Hello @dianeking,

Your question is about if ordinances need to be redone for Ann Eliza Schoch1833–1907 • G8QC-86Z. You have correctly reserved her ordinances while this question is researched.

It seems there is a duplicate person in FamilySearch where the dates, places and family members match. She is Anna Eliza Kemmerer Schock 1833–1907 • M497-3JV and the ordinances are showing as completed for her.

In looking at the sources for her, I don't see any connection to anyone named Kemmerer, so that piece may be incorrect.

If you think they are the same, you can merge the two records. Here are two knowledge articles that may help you with making a merge.

Anna Eliza Schoch and Anna Eliza Kemmerer are TWO distinct people. Not the same. They got confused and merged. Trying to separate them. Need to figure out if need to redo ordinances

    @dianeking

We see you have marked these two individuals as "Not a Match". Good work. You may want to remove Anna Eliza Kemmerer Schock, M497-3JV, as a child of Samuel Shoch, 93DT-F1M, giving your reason . Use the article link below if needed.

    Good luck.

    Hi Diane,

You will receive a private message about the ordinance information.

Your question will be forwarded to a specialty team for review and resolution.

You may be contacted by that team if they need to gather more information.

    Ann Eliza Schoch G8QC-86Z

    and

    Anna Eliza Kemmerer Schock M497-3JV

have the same husband George Kline G8N3-KKX

and the same children. Both have the same birth and death dates and places.

There needs to be more research to determine if these are the same person. One had Ordinances completed. The other did not. Sources need to be attached to both records.

If they are the same person, Ordinances do not need done again. The two records should be merged.

If they are different people, Relationships (spouse and children) need corrected. Vital Information needs to be corrected. Sources to prove information need to be added. Ordinances need to be done for the person without Ordinances.

The George Kline G8N3-KKX is not the husband of Ann Eliza Schoch but the husband of Anna Eliza Kemmerer Schoch This is where they got mixed up The correct George Kline 27H1-5F7. There were 2 George’s that married 2 different women with very similar names but in different counties in Pennsylvania Been trying to disentangle the Schoch’s from the Kemmerers for a while now.

If Ann Eliza Schoch G8Q6-86Z needs her ordinances I can get them done. If already done , need them reinstated

If these 2 are different people, why does the vital information show the same on both?

Don’t know. But as I am descended from the Klines, I have a cousin who is descended from the Schochs. She has all the family history on them and the name of Kemmerer doesn’t show up. She was the one who alerted me to the mixup as I had added Anna Kemmerer as a second wife. Someone else merged them. We got them separated ( I hope) but Ann Schoch’s ordinances showed up as needing to be done I just want to know if they need to be done or not The two lines are very entwined. Two separate George’s married two Ann’s in two different counties

Wondering if the name got changed incorrectly. This may be a record of the same Ann Schoch. Have you found information to support the other Ann being a different person?
