missing ordinances

Hedwidge Jean GMQX-61S - relationship - wife of 3rd cousin twice removed. In review of sources on this person, we found that her surname and given names were reversed in certain indexed records, Other records had her given name correctly listed as Hedwidge or Edwidge. I read French, so I was able to read the original records. Parents are Arthur Jean g8fjxxz and Celanie Chouinerd g8fn118.

Hedwidge Jean was listed in Family Search as Jean Hedwidge and her temple work was done under this name. When I edited (reversed) her name to reflect record sources, her PID remained the same, but her temple ordinances disappeared. Is there a way to reconnect her temple ordinances, or do they have to be redone?

We understand your concern for the the missing Ordinances for Jean Hedwidge ore Edwidge. with the ID GMQX-61S . We see that record was created in October 2018, with a name change in September of this year. However we look at the status of the Ordinances for that ID number, as of October 2020, SS was in progress in 2020 and they now show as completed.

Please know that changing her name would not have affected any completed Ordinances. If you use the search term validity of ordinances after minor changes

in our Help Center , you will find this article https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/a-persons-name-is-different-between-my-completed-ordinances-list-and-family-tree.

    Notice the statement that says

Minor changes to the name do not affect the validity of the ordinances that you just did. Do not worry that the details on your list do not match what was is in Family Tree.

There is an Edwige Jean K2MH-YGR in Family Search with completed Ordinances but her parents are not the same parents as for Jean Hedwidge

Is a minor change reversing the name from Jean Hedwidge to the correct name of Hedwidge Jean where Jean is the last name and not the first?
