Hi Deborah
We checked this record for Ada Marie James id: 9MG8-73H and we notice the the place of birth birth for her does not include a Country and is not standard.
This article will explain the process of adding places
Coming from this article we read the following:
- Standards improve the accuracy and clarity for others who view the information that you enter. Standards also improve the accuracy of the search, record hints, and duplicates features of Family Tree.
Make sure when you enter the dates and places that the standard is selected, this makes it easier for FamilySearch to find duplicates, give you record hints and show ordinances correctly.
This article also addresses this issue:
This one may help as well:
How do I format names to avoid the "Needs more information" error when reserving ordinances?
Note: All the above articles are in the help center which is found by clicking on the small question mark in a circle on the top right of the FamilySearch screen once signed in
We hope that this has helped you and if you require more assistance please post comments below.
All the Best
Miriam
PS: Interesting to note that no-one else in this family shows the country either and yet Ordinances show Ok, One of those computer quirks :-)

An important fact that the above article does not make clear is the difference between the display place and the standardized version of the place.
The place name for Ada Marie is standardized just fine as can be seen by four thiings.
- There is no red exclamation point by the place name.
- There is no data error listed in the research helps box o the left.
- The ordinance page does not say a standard place is required it says "This person's ordinance status is not available. Please contact FamilySearch Support if you are a relative and need more information" which is a completely different problem.
- Opening the editing box shows that the place name is standardized just fine:
So that is not the reason for the yellow squares. Something else needs to fixed with her ordinance page or her information.
