Sharing family names through email
I have family names that I'd like to share with my grandson. When he receives the e-mail that I send, he tries to accept them, but the system won't let him either accept or reject the names. On my end, it shows the symbol of the envelope that they have been sent, but the names are apparently tied up for 2 weeks, and I can't even print them out for him to put them in the mail.

Hi Beverly
- It seems that your grandson may not have turned on the Share Family Names option in their account settings, under Notifications.

We are not sure why yous grandson is not able to accept the email invitation you sent him.
How do I share my family names with family and friends by email?
How do I share a family name with the temple?
How do I accept family names that someone shares with me through email?
This one tells you how to have you settings in Family Search set, to receive email notifications.

Have your grandson also check to make sure he has a membership connected account. When he logs into to FamilySearch, can he see the Temple tab at the top menu of the website? If not, he needs to update his account with his Church Record Number. He can do this in Settings. Then he needs to log out, then log back in to see the Temple tab. Once he has the Temple tab, he can click on the link in the email and it will allow him to accept the ordinances.
You can also click on resend and copy/paste the link to the ordinances you are sending to him in a separate email - in case the error he is getting has something to do with his email provider.
