post a photo

9-12-2021 How can I post a photo of someone I believe might have been married to my maternal grandfather in 1941? I want to post it so that ANYONE who might be able to say " yes, this is a photo of:)


I did click on "memories" but was not sure how to post it there...the directions/ instructions are not that clear.

    If we understand corectly, you would like to be able to post a photo in the hopes that someone can help you identify those in the photo. Unfortunately, Family Search does not offer that option. We suggest you try an internet search to see if there is a way to post your photo of concern on the web.

    You can upload the photo & add a title and description with what you know. You might even tag it to your grandfather, assuming he is deceased. Perhaps someone will recognize her.

    Do you have any information about the photo? Location?

    Do you know the name of your grandfather’s wife?

    Have you checked newspapers for an engagement or marriage announcement?

    There are some online sites dedicated to identifying unknown photos. Most focus on Name or location.
