Ordinances in progress that were reserved by non-relative

What do I do if I am the closest living relative but a non relative has reserved ordinances and they are now "in progress"?

Thank you for your question. There is an article in the Help Center that will answer your question and give you the information you need to get help from FamilySearch.
The title of the article is, "Someone has reserved ordinances for my close relative." We cannot post the link here, but you should be able to find it in the Help Center and follow the instructions given. Please advise if you need additional help finding the article.

Hello @Shawn Ritchie 1970 thank you for using Community and asking this question. If someone else has reserved ordinances for your relative and you want to do them yourself, you will need to contact them and request that they unreserve that name in order for you to reserve it.

If you will go to the question ❓ with the circle around it and then go to the help center and type in "collaborate" you will see articles that will help you to contact them.
