Your list of Famous Relatives is inspirational and fun. It would be nice to see 'Gene Autry', the singing cowboy, in that list. He is a 3rd cousin of my grandfather. His full name is Orvon Grover 'Gene' Autry, born in 1907 in Tioga, Texas, and died in 1998 in Studio City, California. Best wishes, Philip,

Here, is ANOTHER Great "Tool", that can be used, to enhance one's "Discovery Experience".

[ And, to help/assist, OTHERS, enhance their "Discovery Experience" ... ]

And, provide, one's "Ancestral" Lines, in Family Tree of 'FamilySearch', are somewhat extensive ...

IF, you have not already; THEN, ...

You can always try (BYU) RelativeFinder.

Using (BYU) "RelativeFinder", one should be able to 'see' one's "Relationship" NOT only with, "Famous People"; and, many, "Others"; but, ALSO between, (1) one's self and a "Deceased" individual/person (if, there is one of course); and/or (2) two (x2) "Deceased" individuals/person (if, there is one of course); and/or, (3) one's self and a another "Living" User/Patron (if, there is one of course); PLUS, one can ALSO "Print" the connections/links between them.

Caveat - Please be aware, that NOT "All" Users/Patrons, may have success; but, hopefully, many will.

(BYU) "RelativeFinder" digs (pun intended) a lot DEEPER in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', than 'FamilySearch' does.

(BYU) "RelativeFinder" is one of the "Third Party" Applications that "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

BYU = Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah, USA (ie. the Church University).

(BYU) "RelativeFinder" has some interesting options ...

There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between yourself and a "Deceased" individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between two (x2) "Deceased" individuals/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

There is an option to see if there is a 'Connection' between ("Living" - Users/Patrons) Friends in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

Think I'll check this out - maybe I'll find I'm related to Roy Rogers! (Well, maybe not - unless he had some ancestors who were coal miners or shipwrights in the north east of England!)
