Ordinance statuses identify whether a person's ordinances are done or what stage of completion they are in. You can check a person's ordinance status on the FamilySearch website, the Family Tree mobile app, or in Family Tree Lite. You can also check the status of all ordinances that you have reserved.
Steps (website)
If you are in Family Tree on the FamilySearch, you can see a person's ordinance status by doing either of these things:
- On a pedigree view screen, click the person's name. The ordinances appear next to the Temple label. Each box represents one of the ordinances. Hover your mouse over each box to see further details.
- On the person page, click the Ordinances option. Each ordinance is listed with its status.
Note: If you do not see the ordinances, please check your preferences.
Steps (mobile app)
- In the Family Tree mobile app, navigate to the person page of the individual.
- Beneath the name banner, tap Ordinances. (For some devices, you may have to scroll to the right to find this.)
Note: If you do not see the ordinances, please check the settings in your mobile app.
Steps (Family Tree Lite)
In Family Tree Lite, you can see a person's ordinance status:
- In Family Tree Lite, click the name of the person whose ordinances you want to check.
- Scroll down to the ordinances section.

Michael, the ordinances for Sharlene S Hall LJSY-TZH are showing at this page: Sharlene Sue Hall KW8N-33P
You will need to add the death date to Sharlene S Hall LJSY-TZH and then merge to two records. Make sure that the KW8N-33P is the remaining one, as this is her membership record
