I am newly called to oversee our family history center. I have been asked if there is a way to extend the time allotment for a batch to be done.

Thank you

"Batches usually expire after seven days. In order to prevent delays in the indexing process, due dates cannot be extended.

Our goal is to be as quick as we can in getting our records out to people searching for their ancestors. This means doing our best to keep our projects on schedule.

If you are unable to complete a batch by the deadline, the batch is made available for another indexer to finish; however, the work you have completed on the batch is saved.

Thank you for your efforts in helping us make our records more searchable and available"
