Why has this message not been placed as a header in the Catalog section?
The article at https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-a-correction-to-the-familysearch-catalog (image below) helpfully advises no changes can be made to Catalog entries at this time. (We have been advised elsewhere this process might take up to a year to complete.)
It would be most helpful if a moderator could escalate this issue, in order that this message can be clearly displayed (as a header) on the home page of the Catalog. (See https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog)

The Ideas section is monitored and ideas do get to the people who make decisions, even if they do not post responses in Community.
While we do refer certain issues to other departments, suggestions and ideas are suppose to be posted in the Ideas section.
You note that you have already posted in the Ideas section, thank you for that. FamilySearch does continually evaluate suggestions and implements those that can work well with our stated purpose.

Thank you for your suggestion.
The best way to submit your suggestion is for you to click on the Ideas tab on the left side of the page, then click on the Records (Searching and Viewing) tab and then click on the New Idea tab. You can cut and paste your original post into a post there.
FamilySearch is always trying to find ways to make doing Family History easier and encourage users to submit suggestions!

Unfortunately, this example highlights the problem of posting comments in Community.
Whilst I am not disagreeing with your advice (I've already posted my comments at Ideas, as suggested), elsewhere we have been advised to post similar items here in Q and A (from where moderators can escalate them), rather than at the "more lightly" monitored Ideas section.
Thank you for your response, all the same.
