Why doesn't the Discovery Ideas section of the Planner for my wife list Temple?

It lists Family History Activities and Hints but not Temple, suggesting that FamilySearch thinks she is not a Church member. When I try to navigate to Temple>Ordinances Ready, I get information about "Why Latter-day Saints build Temples."

Try logging in using your church number to access her account

    Kenneth

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a member of the Church ... ]

    FYI

I checked my "(Consultant) Planner" ...

I have Users/Patrons, that I help/assist, who are BOTH, (1) Members of the Church; and, (2) non-members of the Church, listed.

For ALL those Users/Patrons who are Members of the Church, that "Temple" 'Tab' is DISPLAYED, when I am their "Helper".

Whereas, for ALL those Users/Patrons who are non-members of the Church, that "Temple" 'Tab' DOES NOT "Display", when I am their "Helper".

    Just in passing ...

    Try this ...

Check the "Settings" in your Wife's 'FamilySearch' Account.

There are two (x2) things that you will need to check for, in your Wife's 'FamilySearch' Account.

    (1) Church Membership Number

Just to be certain, check that your Wife's 'FamilySearch' Account, has her "Church Membership" Number, associated with her 'FamilySearch' Account.

Such most probably is, so associated with her 'FamilySearch' Account; but, just check to be certain.

    And ...

IF, that is O.K.; THEN, ...

    (2) Show Temple Information

Check, that under the Family Tree Preferences, that the Show Temple Information, is "Checked"/"Ticked".

IF, the Show Temple Information, is "Checked"/"Ticked"; THEN, such is ENABLED.

When such is ENABLED then one can 'see' the "Temple" 'Tab'.

    Whereas ...

IF, the Show Temple Information, is NOT "Checked"/"Ticked"; THEN, such is DISABLED.

When such is DISABLED then one CANNOT 'see' the "Temple" 'Tab', even though one is a Member of the Church; and, even with one's "Church Membership" Number associated with one's 'FamilySearch' Account.

BOTH, of the aforementioned, are found, under the FIRST (and, DEFAULT) "Account" 'Tab', of one's "Settings".

    Just some thoughts.

    Good Luck

    Brett
