New Search Interface

I typically use an access page that is for a specific collection, but now when I search--even though the specific collection is selected--I get results from Find A Grave, the county, state, etc. and have to dig through them to find the actual records I searched for. The prior format made this simple, the new format looks shiny but has made it a huge pain to use.

I am finding the new Search interface most annoying. It was great previously, but now I find for example, that when I am searching on a particular record set such as New Zealand, Civil Records Indexes, 1800-1966, it does not allow me to remain on that set should I alter a search word. I am immediately taken away to a general search. This I find really annoying.

It is annoying. I've quit using the site since it's obvious they're sticking us with it and the defenders have wasted no time proclaiming it an improvement.

Are there any good tutorials on how to use the new search page? I can't find any on the BYU Webinar page.
