Wrong ancestors put in my tree by others.
Hello,
On several of my ancestral lines in Family Search, someone unknown to me has somehow linked incorrect people to my tree as if the incorrect persons are my ancestors. How can I delete these incorrect persons so I can add my actual ancestors? I sent a message through Family Search to one contributor, but have not heard back from her. Family Search will not let me add my actual ancestors on those particular lines now. Also, ordinances have been performed for those incorrect people who were added to my tree which sealed my ancestors to the wrong people.

Your question will be forwarded to a specialty team for review and resolution.
You may be contacted by that team if they need to gather more information.
Watch for a tiny red dot to appear next to the small envelope in the upper right portion of your screen that in indicate you have received a private message in regard to this subject

Posting the IDs would be very helpful in understanding your exact issue.

You want to detach rather than delete. However, are you absolutely sure your tree back to that relationship is correct?

@NidaFL , how is the recipient to know a message they receive is from the speciality team, not from some interloper?

In the upper right portion of your screen you should see a tiny envelope. If a Private message is sent to that recipient they will see a tiny red dot next to that envelope

@dontiknowyou , If you are still wondering "how is the recipient to know a message they receive is from the speciality team, not from some interloper?" Unless you are on a specialist team,, have you tried to send a private message???

I send and receive many private messages. More to the point, I have been told I would be contacted privately by someone to help with a situation requiring escalation, and then I was contacted privately.
The only way I would trust that the private contact was from an authorized person was if that person first posted in the Community thread saying they (a) were assigned to help me and (b) would follow up privately. At least then there are eyes on the initial interaction.
I have been contacted privately by someone who skipped that initial step in the Community thread. I had to vet the individual and I did confirm that they were a person in apparent good standing here. However, their subsequent behavior gave me reason to believe they were acting far outside their authority, and possibly in violation of FamilySearch policies and procedures.

This is happening with my tree as well. Not my mom or my grandparents!

Two questions about correcting family trees.
1) How do you change the relationship of a person? e.g. you have my sister as the sibling of my father, not me. You also show her as deceased but she's definitely still alive. How can I update that relationship and data?
2) I've found a situation several generations up my family tree where the ancestor is clearly the same person as a different/duplicate record (same basic info, dates, locations, etc, just a variation on the name with incomplete data). How do I resolve the duplication so the branches are properly connected?

The FamilySearch Family Tree is fully open-edit, Wiki-style. Every change is logged; every change can be corrected/edited/reversed. You have the option to contact other contributors through the private messaging system or you can reverse/correct any errors. If you're new to the FamilySearch Family Tree, there are regular webinars with basic instructions and many help articles with step-by-steps. You can also ask for help here in the Community if you're uncomfortable making changes.

If your sister and father are alive, you are the one who made the incorrect linkage. When you create new live people, they will never be visible to anyone but the person who created the record. If your father is deceased but your sister is alive, again, you are the only one who could have done that, for the same reason. No one but you could have seen her to incorrectly attach her to your father as a sibling. To fix: first, copy the ID of your sister. Next, to make corrections, go to your father's person page and click the pencil next to your sister's name. In the box that opens up, click remove relationship under "father". Finally, remaining on your father's page, go to add child and and click "by ID number" and paste in the ID you copied. Your sister should be in the correct location.
If you are certain the duplicate records are the same person, you can use the merge function. There are numerous merge help articles. I recommend you read them before starting any merge. Click the little circle with the ? in it, click Help Center, and then search merge.

I have found an error in my family tree. How do I get it corrected?
Nancy Chapman is listed as married to two men. She has two ID's. Nancy Chapman was married to Isaac Marks. Margaret Britton was married to Abraham Camp. Margaret was born on 6/5/1845, and died on 10/16/1920. How can I get this changed?

You need to correct the parent-child relationship by removing the child from the parents. Click on the pencil next to the child's name. Then click on remove or replace next to the garbage can under his name. Click the box next to the sentence that says you have reviewed the relationships and sources. And click "Remove" Then put your reason why you believe this is correct and click "Remove". The Knowledge Article in the Help Center is How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

I too have found an egregious error about my grandmother's name. Got an email from family search about "trailblazing women" in my family tree. My grandmother's "name" came up. So called name, as they got it wrong! I was offended. Why do they continue to perpetuate these errors, when I have tried to correct them? People who did not know her or an old handwritten census, still prevail.
