Where do all the indexed names go?

As I review projects I wonder what is the next step for these names. They have been indexed and reviewed and then what?

Thank you for your question, Dave. After a batch/batches is reviewed, it is then published for the public to have access. This enables them to, hopefully, find their ancestors.

After batches have been indexed and reviewed, any records which have been marked No Extractable Data are checked to make sure that was an accurate assessment. The indexes are published at familysearch.org. You can subscribe to email updates to see which record collections are published each month. It's really rewarding when you recognize projects that you worked on.
