Searching for records
I find your new search engine very cumbersome. I am used to researching records directly as I have significant research experience. You have set up a search engine that I simply cannot use! I cannot directly go to the records that I want. Please set up the option of using the former direct search engine, for the more experienced researchers. Thank you.

Your new website is absolutely terrible. I log on, enter a name and birth information, and the website flips back to sign in screen.0
The Search Records function is much less intuitive and less useful. I don't understand a perfectly good search UI was replaced. Very frustrating0

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
NOT everyone one can 'see' that, NEW "Search Results" page/screen; nor, even get it each time.
Such has only been released to a 'select few'.
And, the responses that I have 'seen' are NOT that encouraging, to say the least.
As an aside ...
Here is a post in the "Ideas" Section that you MAY like to leave a 'Comment' on ...

Hello FamilySearch Community! Try out the new update to Record Search.
Just a thought.
The update to Record Search is now available for all of our guests.
We are happy to share some ideas on how to enjoy the new look and search features for Record Search and record results page.
The Records Search update is inviting and helpful for our new users, but the features that our experienced users love are still available even though it has a new outward look.
The update provides a new look and feel, but just click on “more options” to see the more familiar search page for a more specific search. The same search engine is the gate to finding wonderful records.
On the new Search page, there is a wonderful link for “Tips for effective searches.” We hope that the explanations to what a historical record is and how records help us learn about our family is helpful for experienced users as well as beginners.
As you get used to the new features in the search results page, you may discover new features that can help in sorting, saving and viewing your record search results. Many of our guests are discovering wonderful ways to use the new features. These updates may be difficult at first, but a great deal of work, research and experienced planning has gone into this update for our benefit. Please give it some time. Experience the search and experiment with each search results feature. We hope that you will grow to love the new update to FamilySearch records search.
May we suggest some articles from the Help Center.

"The Records Search update is inviting and helpful for our new users": this is, plain and simply, FALSE. Just look at all of the posts here about how complicated or downright impossible-to-use this new interface is. That's the impression that everyone is getting, newbies and experts alike.
Face it, FamilySearch: the new interface is an utter and complete FAILURE. It does not do what you wanted it to do, and it especially does not do what your users want it to do.
Please revert back to the working interface and completely re-think your approach.0
