    Hello Randy Demke,

Sometimes, a sealing-to-parents ordinances status does not show correctly, even though the ordinance was done. In these cases, the person page shows the sealing-to-parents ordinances status as "Request" rather than as completed. In your case the reason could be that someone deleted the child-to-parent relationship that connects the child to the parents that he or she was sealed to.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. See if the child shows multiple sets of parents.
      • Merge any duplicates that you find.
      • If the child shows multiple sets of parents for a good reason, you can seal the child to both sets.
    2. Look at the Latest Changes list and look to see if someone removed the parent-child relationship.
      • If they were the correct parents, restore them to the family.
      • If they were the wrong parents, add the correct parents, and do the sealing.

The family tree record for this person indicates that possibly the parents listed do not match the parents listed in Family Tree. Please review the private message that was sent to your email.
