Hi,

I'd like to submit a GEDCOM to the Pedigree Resource File, but I also have a lot (5000+) of associated images - obituaries, marriage certificates etc. Is there a way that I could submit the images along with the GEDCOM?

Thanks,

Sara Stewart

Thank you for this question. You will find the answer in the help center in the following article.

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-happens-to-information-uploaded-from-a-gedcom-file

    To summarized from that article

The following information is not displayed:

    • Custom events (bar-mitzvah, immigration, etc.).
    • Notes
    • Sources
    • Multimedia links

so as you will surmise none of the associate images will be attached to the GEDCOM file in pedigree resource file. If you have the individuals in Family Tree you could attach the images there but it will be an individual process.
