Why do temple use the recent shares from my temple file rather than the older ones?

I have 80 pages of ordinances that have been "Shared" with the Temple. Some ordinances are from 5 to 6 years ago, and the temple don't take those shared ordinances but use more recent one from 1 year or less.

Eileen, when "temples" pull names from the shared with temple list, they do pull the oldest names first. Currently, especially with Covid restrictions in place, most users are printing their own family name cards to take to the temple, rather than being handed a card when they arrive.

"Ordinances that have been shared with the temple can be reserved by other people who share your same ancestors. In some cases, this might happen within a few days. In other cases, it might not happen at all. These second reservations expire in 90 days. After that, they are returned to the temple, and the ordinances are distributed in the same order that they were originally received."
