Great Aunt ordinance problem

I was doing some research on my grandmothers line and noticed that her sister had not been baptized and confirmed but all the other ordinances were done. I checked all the other brothers and sisters of this great aunt and they were all baptized and confirmed as children. This seemed odd to me so I contacted Family Search for an explanation. They a few days later cancelled ALL her ordinances and said in the Email that she had been excommunicated and I would need First Presidency approval to have them restored. My question to Family Search was When was she excommunicated? What ward was she in when this was supposed to have occurred? Who was the Bishop at the time? I have YET to hear ANY reply and was told to bring this issue to this forum.

What recourse do I have about this now that everyone knows all about this? so much for privacy

    @Brown Larry

    We have no access to the information about your aunt's excommunication. It is a private matter to the individual.

    The letter to the First Presidency takes time, as they are so busy.

    We hope you hear from them soon.

    I talked to my oldest living aunt who would be this great aunts niece and as far as she knows an excommunication never happened
