take a name app. It keeps sending reserved and printed names in progress to temple share
I do a lot of temple work due to that I belong to a group and as a group we can do more work for those on the other side. We have been having problems with the take a name app where it is sending work we reserved, printed and are working on to temple share. We noticed this las week when our group was in Manti that if we had not checked the names we would have been doing someone's work twice. This causes a lot of waisted time on persons doing temple work that we could be doing other names instead of ones that this app is temple sharing and other people do the name even though we have reserved it and printed it and are doing the work. I unshared names on the app twice yesterday and I am in the process of doing it again for the 3rd time today. The numbers I am having problems with are
lvsxpfl, lqr8my9, l6ssgnz, klll1fr, gwszhms, krzkrq4, g9m8dl9, g3jjw8h, lc2dkqw, lwh2jfb, l4h37qs, gslnhq7,gsjy1gt. These are the ones I just unshared again but there have been others that I am doing. Thank you for your help.
Irene

Hello, @Irene Collings Rigby
I haven't yet researched those ID numbers, but could there be a problem with the app itself?
Note that the app version hasn't been updated since 2018.

Hello, Irene.
At least for this name, the reservation appears to be a 90 day reservation, meaning it had been shared with the temple system and your app picked it up:
Anna Meyer
about 1849 – Deceased • LVSX-PFL
E Endowment In Progress
louise Pettingill
Shared with Temple on 22 May 2020
Irene Collings Rigby
Reserved on 25 August 2021
Expires on 24 November 2021
From the knowledge article regarding when reservations expire:
Note: When a person shares an ancestor's ordinances with the temple, those ordinances are available for other descendants to reserve. This second reservation expires in 90 days and cannot be shared. It can only be unreserved. After 90 days, the ordinance is returned to the temple, and the person who originally shared the ordinance has the option to unshare it.
If you are unable to unreserve the ordinance from the app, you might have to unreserve from the website. Perhaps there is a syncing issue between the app and FamilySearch? You may have to contact kinpoint about this problem. You could also try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
I don't know if any of this information will help you -- just some ideas on how to proceed.
