need to know if family members need to se sealed to parents
Our mother Dolores Brewerton Collings was sealed in the temple with her first husband and later had a civil divorce. she was finally granted a temple divorce Oct 22, 1956. That was prior to our youngest brother being born and the adoption of Kym and Shelly Collings. Robert was taken to the temple to be sealed to her husband who was the father of Kathy Collings, myself Irene Collings and Richard O. Collings. Thoral M. Collings adopted my sister from mom's first marriage, Carolyn B. Collings. I am in the process of doing the temple work for our deceased sister Kathy Collings but are still waiting for records to find her baptism and confirmation records which I have sent them the date for. Carolyn, Kathy, myself, Irene and Richard were told we were born under the covenant but I have also learned that we should have been taken to the temple to have been sealed to our parents Thoral Moosman Collings and Dolores Brewerton when they went to be sealed that the sealing of covenant did not seal us to our father. If we need to do this sealing of child to parents, Carolyn and I would like to get a PDF with that ordinance so we can do the sealing while we are still alive. Richard is not active but we can contact him that he needs to do this request. Can you help us in getting our family work done? Carolyn and I would make it a family affair and we would do her sealing, my sealing and Kathy's sealing all together.
