Hi,

For "Daugherty, Elizabeth (wid Neal)"

  1. Would I make a first entry for Elizabeth--which would include her husband's first name. then do I assume he has the same last name or should I leave the last name blank?
  2. Should I add a second entry for Neal and include his last name or leave it blank?

Thank you,

Michelle

In the Project Instruction's Example, when you click on How To Index A City and Business Directory, Example 2, they show you that you create 1 entry for the principle (Elizabeth) and you include their spouse in the Spouse's Given Names field. You do not create a second entry for the spouse, no matter whether they are alive or deceased and you don't enter a surname.

Project Instructions can be pulled up at anytime by clicking on the last icon in the toolbar.
