Translation Request, Please?

I'm having trouble recognizing the Given Names in this record. I would sure appreciate any help as I learn Swiss names. I've tried all different AI tools and letter/handwriting samples. I know the image is a little blurry, but the original is in Switzerland and it is a literal miracle to have what I have. Any help and tutoring would be very much appreciated! —A Campbell

The image is indeed somewhat blurred, especially in the upper part. It would be helpful if you could post a scan or a photo taken directly above it.
It would also help if you could include the location, time, and family name in the title of this Burgerrodel entry. I can guess some of the words, but places like Zurich, Schüpfen, and Schaffhausen are scattered across half of Switzerland, and the family name Meier is very common. I would rather provide you with reliable information than mere guesswork.

This is a family register from Waldhausen, Aargau, Switzerland, very near Fisibach, Aargau, Switzerland and Bachs, Zurich, Switzerland. The father is Johan Meier and both the first wife and second wife's name was Anna. It's mostly the last child of each family that has everyone puzzled. I can't get any different/better images because this image miraculously found its way to me through prayer, fasting, and six different missionaries happening to be in the right place at the right time to pass along the information from a private collection. So, with gratitude, I'm trying to do the best I can with what I have. THANK YOU for helping me with place names! I only was able to pick out the Waldhausen, Bach, Zurich, and Fisibach references—so that will be VERY helpful! I know there can be so much information on pages like this if I can learn to recognize more. I've only had Swedish experience up until now.

    See also here.

BTW - I don't consider it a good idea to ask the identical question parallel in two different groups: just duplicates volunteers' work.

THANK YOU SO MUCH @Daniel57704 and @WSeelentag for your help! Learning to read/recognize the names has been a little overwhelming, and yet so important, to identify them as people and get them entered in correctly into the Tree. I appreciate your talents and you being willing to share them!

I truly am sorry @WSeelentag and didn't mean to be disrespectful. I'm new to these groups and didn't know if people would be available on one vs the other to help me. I've been doing mostly Swedish work for 15 years. I thought I was being resourceful and didn't realize that I was duplicating work. Thank you for your help.

I have requested (and received) a better copy from Zivilstandsamt (Civil Registry Office) Zurzach (Aargau):

A complete transcription can be found in Geneal-Forum.

I recommend you register with the forum (free of charge and without any obligation) and "subscribe" to the topic. You will then get automatically informed by mail about any new contribution to the topic.

Wow! This copy is AMAZINGLY clear! Is this something you had to pay for? Are the other pages in the book available somewhere, or just individually by request? With the clarity of this page and its transcription, I was able to notice that Anna Weidman came from Rüebisberg, the Farm where my Weidman ancestors came from, and link her with her parents and siblings on my tree—we didn't know she was part of that family! The Meier's are distant cousins (which is why I was entering the page), but Anna my great-great-great Aunt! I would like to follow all of your advice and register for this forum—do I push this Register link on the page (a screen shot is attached below). How do I use this forum properly to learn more of my family history? I've not learned this yet. Thank you for requesting this page and sharing it with me. I feel Anna is happy to have been properly connected to her parents in our FamilySearch records.

Quite good quality indeed: I assume they got a document scanner in the office. And - yes, no charge - see my comment. I don't think they will accept "orders" for a large number of documents - but with just a single (or very few) requests many will consider any payment procedure too time consuming to be worth it. This will be different if you request a complete "Familienschein" - for which a federal fee regulation tells them what to charge.

In the far right column "Uebertragung pag." you will find "3" - likely the page number for the groom's parents.

Registration with Geneal-Forum: you didn't include a screenshot - but somewhere on the start page there will be a link for a registration. Make sure you register with the FORUM - not the TREE ! Once you are logged in, I recommend you have a look at https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=31426.

If there are any questions: don't hesitate to ask - have fun !
