I assume all group members are familiar with how to find Bern church records on familysearch. Reading them will occasionally be a problem: I see a fair number of posts here, asking for help with a transcription and/or translation of entries in these records, often with only a link to familysearch. 

The problem for Swiss residents, willing to help, is the fact that the access to the records on familysearch is blocked in Switzerlan (access from Family History Centres only).

Instead these records may be viewed at the Bern State Archive. There are two shortcomings, however: 

1) Whilst on familysearch the link leads to a "film", usually covering several books, the State Archive links to single books. Unless the enquirer finds out the correct link, at least a detailed description of the book should be given in the enquiry, to help find the correct book. Mentioning type of record and date, whenever possible the page number, is absolutely necessary. 

2) The Bern State Archive does not have the more recently digitized files one sees at familysearch, but older files, originally produced for Picton Press, to be sold on CD. This required a reduction of file sizes, accomplished by extremely high contrast gif-images, much more difficult to read, depending on resolution sometimes close to impossible to read - see comparison (Steffisburg, baptism 20.09.1663):

Anyone hoping for help from Switzerland will consequently have better chances for a useful response by including a screenshot with the enquiry. Again, the source should be described, and a screenshot of a larger section helps with deciphering poor handwriting - provided the resolution is sufficient. In some cases two screenshots with different resolution will be helpful. 

The the Bern State Archive will list only parishes, not smaller communities without independent parish. You'll find a list of several smaller communities on Geneal-Forum with the corresponding parish mentioned (viewing does not require registration). 

4 parishes in canton Bern (Frutigen, Guttannen, Lenk im Simmental, Saanen) have not been filmed by familysearch, and are also not available from the State Archive. Volunteers on Geneal-Forum offer look-ups for 3 of these parishes: you have to be registered (free of charge and without any obligation) in order to be able to contact them.

Whilst the example in Council minutes Chur 1889: transcription, translation and background explanations is coming from Graubünden, not Bern, it may also be of more general interest:

1) It deals with a one-page handwritten text and provides a line-by-line transcription (gives you a chance to practise reading the script) plus a translation - with a few terms which cannot be just translated, but need further explanation.
