Identifying faces in photos
What ideas do you have for identifying people in photos that are not labeled?

@Cindy Jarvis if you have family Facebook page or family email, you might post those pictures and see if anyone, aunts, cousins etc might recognize them. If they are very old see if there is a photographer who has his name on them and see if that business still exists to help you identify them or another thing you can do is if you have a particular individual in several pictures, if you can name everyone else, and can see in the background where that picture was taken, it might give a clue as to who that person may be. Happy sleuthing .

Good morning @Cindy Jarvis,
Put your photo in your gallery first so you can give people links to it. If you know an ancestor that a photo was associated with, you can tag that ancestor and put a description ("photo with unknown individuals found among things owned by XXX"). Then message everyone who has contributed to that ancestor and ask them for information. Next, I always use Ancestry in conjunction with FamilySearch. I literally work in both places. I have done my DNA in Ancestry and I have many relatives who have done theirs as well and let me manage it on my tree. I use that information to find people who share a certain ancestor and then message them. That is my most successful way to identify people in photos. Sometimes I don't even need to message anyone because photos on a DNA match's tree contains sufficient information. One time I not only found photos with all my people identified, but there were other photos from the same picnic event around 1920! I was astounded! I have had numerous successes messaging DNA matches in Ancestry regarding people in photos, so I highly recommend you choose another product (MyHeritage, Ancestry, etc) and use DNA matches for a line of research as well. On several occasions I have scheduled Skype sessions with these DNA match relatives and in the ensuing conversation MUCH information has been shared. Every time I have done that, we have conversed for several hours and identified MANY unknown people in LOTS of photos for both of us. In most cases these were total strangers, but sharing family memories with each other is not only very interesting, but usually there is lots of new information about old family stories.
