Where can I find church and/or civil registration birth and marriage records for Pedro GUZMÁN Jr?
Pedro GUZMÁN Jr, my father's half-brother, and has the same father: Pedro GUZMÁN Sr (my paternal GF). I know names of Pedro Jr's siblings, but not his mother.
He and his 3 siblings are from Pedro Sr's 1st marriage, which happened in Mexico - I have reason to believe it was in Tamps, MX.
I have already searched Mexico, Tamaulipas, Civil Registration, 1800-2002, but found no records. I also searched Mexico, Tamaulipas, Catholic Church Records, 1702-1964 again nothing found.
Pedro Jr born between 1920-1934. Siblings Carlos, Regina, and Aurora have surname RODRIGUEZ (but don't know why). Tried search for siblings, but no luck.
Curious discovery, record that may/may not be coincidence:
Found: Civil Birth Registration for Regina RODRIGUEZ; father: Pedro RODRIGUEZ, born in TX; paternal GPs: Juan RODRIGUEZ & Regina GUZMÁN.
Thoughts: Is it possible my GGF is Juan RODRIGUEZ (vs RUELAS)? Is it possible my paternal GF used his father’s surname while in MX, even though not given name?
