Do you have any family members that you could ask? If your grandparents are no longer living, can you ask their siblings about what harvest time was like?

Dennis, these are excellent examples. I love that photos are included.
You have included a great example in your rural America post. I love writing family stories and including information like your post shows. This information is so easy to get now with Wikipedia or just researching the town. Many towns have historical societies or just pages dedicated to the past. These really help us see what happened in the lives of our ancestors. The cool thing is that I have stumbled upon links that specifically mentioned my ancestors when I have researched the town history.
Has anyone else found interesting town history links that mentioned your relatives? Does anyone want to share an example?
