Can you share a link or FamilySearch ID code, so that people can see what happened?

what are some of the names that you entered when you "set it up"?

If you know it's in the FamilySearch FamilyTree somewhere, then go the the "Find" menu (or the "Search->FamilyTree menu, they are the same) and put in a general search for the surname McMurphy with the exact match checkbox set:
When you click on the find, the system will return pretty well every record with the exact surname of McMurphy in the data base:
You can now manually walk through the 2382 records to see if anything looks familiar to you 😳
Or you could add a little bit more information about what you remembered entering such as other names, etc., and greatly reduce the list size. clicking on any of the names in a record in that list will take you to that person where ever they are in the tree.
But without a tiny bit more information, you're going to have to walk through over 2000 records to find what you lost (at least it isn't the 1.3 Billion records that it could have been) 😀
One other possibly faster approach is to simply look into your "Recents" list. The names of any records that you touched in the last little while will be there.
