Ossenheim, Hessen - Familienbuch - Kopp family - transcription help
This Familienbuch entry 98 is for Johannes Kopp and his wife Anna Barbara [maiden name unknown] and their five children. I need a bit of help with the blanks in my transcription and a translation of the note at the end.
The second image is the full page and there is no URL available.
Any help is appreciated!
Debra

My additions in bold:
nach einer Mitteilung von ? Fr.
Gondolph Giessen [this could possibly be the name of the person providing the info for Johann Jakob?] (O__weg 59) - ? Juni 1936:
Heiratete er am 7.9.1775 in Assenheim
u[nd] starb dort 1812. am 19. Nov.
I can't read the word before the name; it is probably an occupation or title. The word in brackets is probably an address - hard to read if you don't know the place.

The translation of "nach einer Mitteilung von = following a communication from" confirms to me that the info for Johann Jakob Kopp was likely provided by the person whose name and possible address were written in the note. This is not particularly important (although this person could have been a descendent of Johann Jakob) but it's an interesting detail to read.
Thank you, @Ulrich Neitzel for your additions to the transcription, which are very helpful!

I have just a couple of questions:
The occupation of Johannes Kopp was "herrschaftlicher Schäfer". Would he have been a shepherd who probably worked for a Landlord?
Johann Jakob has a third name, "?rel". Any idea of what this name is?

Hello Debra,
I agree that Johannes Kopp was employed as a shepherd by a local (probably noble) landowner.
I am not sure what name or other word follows after Johann Jakob. The initial letter looks like "G", but I can't come up with any name that starts with "Grel".
It seems also strange that there are two daughters named Anna Kathrine, although the first was still alive when the other was born.

Thank you, Ulrich for answering my question about the occupation and trying to come up with a third name "Grel?" for Johann Jakob.
I also thought it is unusual that the daughter Anna Kathrine (born in 1725) was living when her parents gave another daughter the same name. I assume that the church book entries i.e. baptism and death for these children of Johannes Kopp could confirm if the info in the Familienbuch is correct for them.
