I am looking for a place name for research and can only find Didballen? I can not find that place in a search, can you please offer some insight so that I may locate an area? I believe it is Alsace-Lorraine under German rule? Maybe?

When I enter "D*ballen" into Meyers I get two (connected) results for "Dittballen" in East Prussia: https://s.meyersgaz.org/search?search=D*ballen. However, none of them has an entry on the map.

When I enter "A*lothen" (the place given in the top line of the record) I get an entry for "Argelothen" in the same district (https://s.meyersgaz.org/search?search=A*lothen).

So I would guess that the place name in this record refers to Dittballen in East Prussia.
